You may have called a lawyer's office and the secretary asked your name, put you on hold and then returned to say the lawyer is not in. Or, your continued calls to your lawyer have gone unanswered.
That cannot happen at our office. We have always told clients to never identify themselves when calling. That way, they
know we have no opportunity to screen their call.
Simply ask for us by name. Our assistant is only authorized to tell you if we are in the office or not in the office. If we are in, you will get us, not voice mail, within 60 seconds, whether or not we are on the phone or in a meeting.
If we are on the phone, we will tell you that we will return your call as soon as we finish the earlier call or meeting. And we will.
If we are not on the phone, you will get our full attention.
If we are not in, my assistant will reach us by cell phone if you feel it is necessary. If it is not necessary, you will be contacted within hours.
Each of our clients is given a list of the most common complaints against lawyers. This information was gathered by the Missouri Bar Association. We want all our clients to know the types of common lawyer disservice, so that you can hold us to a higher standard.
All consultations are free of charge. |
